Shipping policy

Most of what we sell is pickup at the garden center:

Shipping is only for products marked for shipping. If the listing does not say it ships, it does not ship.

How shipping works
Rates and delivery estimates show at checkout. We ship live plants by carrier (usually FedEx). You pay the shipping shown at checkout. We do not control carrier delays, weather holds, or weekend sits at a depot.

Live plants
Plants are alive. Heat, cold, and time in a box are hard on them. We pack for transit. We do not guarantee the plant will look the same as it did on the bench, or that it will survive in your yard.

Your address
Use a street address where someone can receive the box. We are not responsible for a package left in the sun, sent to the wrong address you typed, or delayed because the address was incomplete.

When we ship
We pack when the plant is ready and weather allows. We may hold a shipment if a freeze or extreme heat is coming. If we hold it, we will contact you.

Damage or dead on arrival
If a shipped plant arrives dead, broken, or clearly crushed in the box, email us the same day with the order number and photos of the closed box, the open box, and the plant. We will review it under the refund policy. That is not a guarantee. It is the only path we will consider.

Pickup instead
If a plant has both a pickup listing and a shipping listing, use the pickup listing if you can come to Broussard. It is easier on the plant and costs less.
