Blue Arrow Rush

Availability: Available for pickup at our Broussard garden center.

This striking ornamental rush features distinctive narrow, upright blue-green stems that create a sculptural arrow-like appearance in the landscape. Native to North America, Europe, and Asia, Juncus inflexus 'Blue Arrows' thrives in hardiness zones 5-9 and reaches 2-3 feet tall with a 1-2 foot spread. Exceptionally versatile, it performs equally well in full sun to part shade and adapts to wet soils while developing drought tolerance once established. The evergreen foliage persists through milder winters, making it an excellent choice for borders, water gardens, and container plantings where vertical interest and textural contrast are desired.
