Ornamental Cabbage

Availability: Available for pickup at our Broussard garden center.

Ornamental cabbage is grown for the rosette of green, white, pink, or purple leaves. Color deepens as nights get cool. It is a cool-season annual here, for beds and pots from fall through spring. Summer heat finishes it.

Give it full sun and soil that drains. Water when the top inch is dry. These are ornamental plants, not a food crop.

🌎 Zones: Cool-season annual in south Louisiana.
☀️ Sunlight: Full sun.
💧 Soil & Care: Well-drained soil. Water when the top inch is dry. Pull them when summer heat arrives.
🌿 Habit: Colorful rosette. Fall through spring.
