Ornamental Pepper

Ornamental pepper is grown for the fruit. Small peppers change color as they ripen, often cream, yellow, orange, purple, or red on the same plant. Use it in a sunny bed or a pot. It is a warm-season annual. A freeze finishes it.

Give it full sun and soil that drains. Water when the top inch is dry. These are sold as ornamentals. Do not assume the fruit is mild enough to eat.
