Baby Cakes Blackberry

Availability: Available for pickup at our Broussard garden center.

Blackberries are easy to grow in South Louisiana. Plant in full sun in soil that drains, water regularly while the berries form, and cut out the old canes after harvest.

Stop by our Broussard garden center, near Lafayette, to see it in person and ask our staff about growing it in Acadiana.

Baby Cakes® is a dwarf, thornless blackberry perfect for patio pots with its compact habit. In summer, large, classic and sweet tasting berries present on the plant in a fireworks-like spray of fruit. In most regions, this blackberry will produce twice in one season!
