Ficus Repens Fig Ivy

Ficus repens, also called creeping fig, is a clinging evergreen vine. The young leaves are small and it will cover a wall, fence, or pot. It holds on with rootlets, so do not put it on a surface you may want clean later. With age the leaves get larger and the stems get woody.

Give it sun to part shade and soil that drains. Water the first year. A hard freeze can burn it. It usually comes back from the base in Broussard.

🌎 Zones: 8–11.
☀️ Sunlight: Full sun to part shade.
💧 Soil & Care: Well-drained soil. Water during establishment. Do not plant it on a wall you may need to paint.
🌿 Habit: Clinging evergreen vine. Small juvenile leaves.
