This compact fig variety thrives in confined spaces, making it an excellent choice for patios and balcony gardens. The medium fruits develop a striking deep brown exterior that reveals vibrant pink-red flesh when opened. Known for its consistently sweet flavor profile, this cultivar produces abundant harvests across all seasons. Expect mature plants to reach 2-3 feet in height, fitting seamlessly into container growing systems.

🌿 Fig-Specific Note on Leaf Rust 🌿

Fig rust (small orange-brown spots on leaves) is a very common fungal issue on fig trees, especially in humid Southern climates like ours in Louisiana. It primarily affects the leaves, is not deadly to the tree, and does not impact fruit production long-term.

New leaves typically emerge healthy after removing affected ones. We inspect our plants, but minor rust can develop or become more visible over time. It is easily managed with good care (remove spotted leaves, improve airflow, avoid overhead watering).
