Gold Lace is a spreading juniper with golden-yellow foliage. The tips are lacy and arching. It stays low, about 3–4 feet tall and wider than it is tall, so it works on a bank, the front of a bed, or as a groundcover in full sun. The gold is strongest in sun. Shade turns it greener and thinner.
It hates wet feet. Plant it in soil that drains. Water the first year, then it handles short dry spells. Do not put it in a soggy bed.
🌎 Zones: 4–9. ☀️ Sunlight: Full sun. 💧 Soil & Care: Well-drained soil. Water during dry stretches the first year. Do not plant it where water stands. 🌿 Habit: Low, spreading evergreen. Golden lacy foliage.
