Figs are a South Louisiana backyard tradition. Plant in full sun in soil that drains, water regularly while the tree gets settled, and mulch the shallow roots. Figs fruit in summer and need little pruning.

This vigorous fig variety produces generous yields of deep purple fruits featuring luscious, sweet flesh. Known for its early and prolific fruiting habit, it reliably delivers two distinct harvests—one in midsummer and another in early fall. An excellent choice for growers seeking consistent production from a young, established tree.
