Pine Straw Roll

Availability: Available for pickup at our Broussard garden center.

Pine straw is a classic Southern mulch, and this roll packs the needles tight so it is easy to haul and spread. Use it around shrubs, in beds, and on slopes, where the needles knit together and stay put better than bark in a heavy rain. It holds moisture in the soil, cuts down on weeds, and gives beds a clean, natural look.

Spread it a few inches deep and fluff it as you go. Top it off once or twice a year as it breaks down.
