Citrus that actually produces in south Louisiana. We keep satsumas, Meyer lemons, navels, limes, and kumquats at the Broussard yard because they handle our heat and mild winters.

Looking for cold-hardy satsumas? Start with Arctic Frost, Brown Select, Owari, Orange Frost, Bumper, or Miho. For kitchen trees, Improved Meyer lemon, Persian lime, and Thornless Key lime are the usual picks.
